Why do I say that?

Well, business coaching isn’t so much about discovering things you don’t know already … it’s about helping you to use the knowledge and skills you have. And if a coach doesn’t know and practice that, then their ability to help you is limited.

That’s not to say that you won’t have a lot to learn, it’s just that the biggest benefit a business coach brings to your business is a new and experienced perspective on the problem.

And yes, I do have a coach of my own… several, in fact.

My business coach once told me that frequently when his own coach asked him the questions he’d been asking a client an hour or so earlier – he’d get the same blinding flash of insight that his client had. It happens to me, too.

That’s because we are all too close to our own businesses to see things clearly.

In 2004, I used my Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) training to coach a sales team from dismal failure to incredible success.
